Food and wine excellences.

Montagnana’s location, bordering the provinces of Verona, Vicenza and Rovigo, has resulted in a fusion of flavours that made the local cuisine particularly rich and varied, capable of providing an extraordinary culinary offering. Surrounded by typical and cosy locations, you will be able to try the best of Montagnana’s traditions, always lovingly attended. Baccalà alla vicentina, sarde in saor, polenta e musso, risi e bisi, bigoli al sugo di anatra, gnocchi alla veneta… these are just some of the delicacies that will delight your palate, along with a rich variety of local products.

The specialty of the area is the Prosciutto Veneto DOP, pink coloured when cut and so soft that it melts in your mouth. Its unique sweet taste comes from the perfect balance of quality raw materials, careful processing and perfect curing times.

A good wine cannot be missed as well, perfect to be combined with Montagnana’s typical dishes. For example, the Rosso Merlara DOC, ruby red in colour, with an intense and floral bouquet, produced from the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon wines, matches wonderfully with traditional recipes.
